As a transracial adoptee, a parent, and a person with lived experience, I bring an intersectional lens to my work. While my personal experiences can offer an insiders’ understanding of struggle, resilience, and growth, I am careful and intentional about discovering and recognizing where our stories are unique.
With nearly 15 years of experience, I have had the privilege of connecting with people from all different backgrounds. I spent a decade working as an outreach worker, case manager, and therapist in community mental health organizations in Chicago. These experiences are foundational to the way I work.
First and foremost, therapy requires a true partnership. I come into every therapy relationship with humility and respect. In sessions, I collaborate with clients to explore, experiment, brainstorm, and build. My case management background promotes a holistic view of (mental) health centered around practical solutions and actionable ideas across various domains of wellness.
My training offers a solid foundation in evidence-based approaches, and my experience drives the need for flexibility – one size doesn’t fit all, and sometimes, we need to create a brand new garment to fit the human in front of us. Having worked with hundreds of people from all walks of life, my work is rooted in the firm belief that everyone has the capacity for change when offered acceptance, warmth, and connection. People are capable of making powerful, meaningful changes and it’s an honor to be a part of their process.

In-Network Insurance
We are in-network with BCBS PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and Aetna PPO. We will soon be in-network with Cigna (Evernorth) as well.
Out-of-Network Insurance
Out-of-network clients are responsible for paying the full rate at the time of service delivery. We will provide you with a monthly statement, which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Insurance coverage is confusing for just about everyone, so know that you’re not alone and that we’re here to help figure this out together.
